WELCOME TO THE 20TH NATIONAL SYMPOSIUM POLYMERS 2022 OPEN TO INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPATION!
The 20th National Symposium POLYMERS 2022 will take place from 5-th to 8-th July, 2022, in ARTE Spa&Park Hotel, Velingrad, Bulgaria.
The event is jointly organized by the Institute of Polymers – BAS, the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, the University “Prof. D-r Asen Zlatarov” – Burgas and the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy – Sofia.
The National Symposium “Polymers”, held for the first time in 1967, is the most important scientific forum in the field of polymer science in Bulgaria. The main goal of the symposium is to stimulate the dissemination of scientific results, exchange of ideas and new cooperation between scientists active in the field of polymer science and technology, both from Bulgaria and abroad.
The main thematic areas of the symposium are as follows:

Biopolymers and bio-related materials
Polymeric nanoparticles and nanocomposites
Polymer processing and recycling
Polymeric materials for alternative energy
